It had been probably 5 years since I'd visited NKB and I'm pleased to discover that it's just as good as I remember. Great decor and delicious burgers. I particularly enjoyed the loaded fries.

I don't normally give 5 stars for everything but this place is something else. It has an amazing atmosphere, people, food and coffee. I highly recommend this place, it's the type of place to chill and bring the family. Short waiting time for food too. Amazing Bibek is an amazing server, very nice team.

Discover the place recently and very happy with it!Located on a very busy street next to the Indooroopilly train station. Does not look fancy outside, but internal decoration is great.Food is fantastic! Great burgers and awesome sweet potato chips!!!Tempted to try waffles but was so full. Might give it a try next time.Definitely worth the visit!

What a gem! This modern twist on a 1950s diner serves burgers that are fresh and tasty (the chicken was amazing), chips that are crunchy and waffles that are HUGE (next time, I might come back for desert only). Fantastic food, fantastic value. This is my new favourite burger joint. And what an awesome atmosphere!

The theme is a real vibe and the burgers were so much better than I expected. I had spicy chicken burger and it was so juicy and flavourful. My only beef was with the portion of fries, which was supposed to be a large - I think 6 for the 1/3 basket was a little steep. Despite this, I think we'll be back to try some more things soon. A great little lunch spot.

I have had their new york style bagel a couple times now and its honestly just sooo good!! and at a fairly cheaper price than any other bagel place in the city. the bagels are fresh and warm, not stodgy and dense like other bagels. filled with good, fresh toppings. just downright a good bagel. my boyfriend said the breakfast roll was really good too!

This is a super cool, fun little café that’s been decorated to resemble a 1950s style American Diner. It's airy, spacious and brightly lit, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are interesting retro pics on the wall, lots of greenery on the ceilings and soothing 1950s style music playing over the music system. It’s all very welcoming, homely and relaxed, and it's not surprising therefore that it has built up a solid reputation amongst the locals. It’s an ideal place for a brekky or just a coffee, after a spot of shopping at Bunnings, which is in the same little centre. The owner manager is a friendly, helpful and polite guy, who clearly takes pride in his restaurant. His assistant was efficient in taking orders and delivering food and drinks quickly to the table. My wife and I had a late breakfast on a chilly Sun morning in June. We sat Indoors in comfy booth type seating. We ordered two coffees and two bagels: the New Yorker and the Soho. They were both delicious and filled with fresh and tasty ingredients. My “New Yorker'' had lashings of finely sliced salmon, with cream cheese, capers and onions on a warm toasted poppy seed bagel. My wife’s “Soho” had mushrooms, sundried tomato tapenade and zucchini and was served on a toasted plain bagel. Presentation was neat in cute little black baskets with black and white checked napkins. And what I really like about this place is the size of the coffee cups. Even the small coffee is large by the standards of the average café in Brisbane, where “small” generally means “tiny”.All up, and after our Eat Club discount, (which is supposed to be 15%, but after ECs hidden cc fee, it’s actually only 14%) we paid 30 for two drinks and two bagels. That’s solid value for money as Australia races over the hyperinflationary cliff. The toilets are the same ones used by the Bunnings customers and they’re located on the second level of the parking garage. There are separate male and female cubicles. They're not always kept in the cleanest condition, but at least they’re usable and there’s soap in the dispenser although the 1980s style hand dryer is a waste of space and there are no hand towels. There’s free parking in the little centre's car park, and one can usually find a space quite easily.Overall, we had a lovely brekky here, with a nice relaxed vibe, a warm and comfy interior, pleasant soothing music and excellent food and drink. We love this place and will definitely be back.PS Check out the retro pics on the wall. I especially love the ones advertising hot dogs for 15c and burgers and chips for 50c (I presume USD). Does anyone remember those prices? Just a distant memory now, sadly!
